PLANTSKYDD is an animal protein based repellent made in the USA and imported into NZ. It is in the form of powdered animal blood and needs to be added to water and then mixed and reconstituted into a spray for application onto trees. It has been around for decades and has been in effect the only animal protein product readily available in volume.

But many kiwis are still stuck in the mindset of "all imports are better", but we can prove our PESTBANG repellents are superior. Just because it's been around for years doesn't mean it's better. Why would a product tested in the northern hemisphere on elk, moose, squirrels, racoons, voles and other critters be effective on our pests? In reality kiwi innovation has once again blown away the entrenched incumbent, and we have rendered this outdated import redundant...and here's why!
